Mrs. Annie Mouton, employed with the Calcasieu Parish School
Board, has been a member of the CARC Board of Directors since1998. She is the
current President of the Board "I have served in various capacities in civic
organizations and I work with children and families as an employee of the Calcasieu Parish
School Board. I support the efforts to assist families and especially families who
have special service needs. What I give in terms of time is nothing compared to what
CARC does for the community."

Mrs. Pansy Skipper, a retired school teach with the Calcasieu
Parish School Board, is a founding member of CARC and has been a member of the CARC Board
of Directors since 1984. She is the current Secretary of the Board. "It
is a rewarding experience to serve as a volunteer member of the Board. I support
goals of this organization in providing training, residential services, employment and
other support opportunities for persons with disabilities in our community. Last but
not least, I am a parent of a special needs son who is a client at CARC. As a
parent, I feel I have an obligation to do my part and be involved, in some small way, in
anything that affects my son and others with special needs." |

Ms. Rebecca Hughes, CPA, has been a member of the CARC Board
of Directors since1987. She is the current Treasurer for the Board. I believe
everyone deserves an opportunity to work, socialize and, if able, live on their own.
CARC provides assistance to their clients each step of the way to accomplsh these
goals. I am glad to provide my time to help CARC help others.

Mrs. Charlotte LaBarbera has been a member of the CARC Board
of Directors since1999. "I have a special interest in that I have a child
living in a Community Home. I am so grateful for the many services CARC provides to
our community and the impact it has on the lives of individuals for good." |

Mr. Philip Grass, retired military and from the Calcasieu
Parish School Board, has been a member of the CARC Board of Directors since 1987. "I
want to serve with the best people, who are on the Board and assist others in my
community." |

Mr. Ed Chaddick, retired Business Manager - Local 407 &
Lake Charles Metal Trades Council was a founding member of CARC in 1984, and after a
brief haitus has been a member of the CARC Board of Directors since 2001. "I
just enjoy volunteering my time to assist an organization who wants to help the community
and its people." |

Mr. Gene Thibodeaux, 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals Judge, has
been a member of the CARC Board of Directors since1998. "I want to ensure that
our mentally challenged citizens are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve and
are allowed the opportunity to take full advantage of our community's resources." |

Mrs. Nancy Cormier is a founding member of CARC has been a
member of the CARC Board of Directors since 1984. |

Mr. Kendrick Guidry, Attorney, has been a member of the CARC
Board of Directors since 2002. "So much of what I do for CARC has to do with
CARC giving an unproven, yet eager young man a chance many years ago. I was able to
grow, mature, and provide for my family while working for CARC. Hopefully, I have
returned to CARC something positive from their investment in me." |

Mr. Richard Marriner, retired CEO Southwest Beverage Co., has
been an active supporter of CARC since 1969 and is a founding member of CARC having been a
member of the CARC Board of Directors since 1984.

Mrs. Dorothy Stroud, retired Lake Charles American Press, has
been an active supporter of CARC since 1968 and is a founding member of CARC having been a
member of the CARC Board of Directors since1984. "I became interested 40+ years
ago due to my daughter and not being able to find services for her. After moving
around, I returned to the area and have been active ever since."

Mrs. Helen Monic, Early Steps, has been a member of the CARC
Board of Directors since 1988. "I strongly believe in the mission of CARC in
providing opportunities for all individuals to live a full and productive life within
their community."
